Dial Up Networking

If you are running any other version of an Internet Browser, such as Netscape or anything else, you will just need to create a Dial-up Network Session into TXOL.

Open My Computer to start the process.
Double click will open "My Computer" as shown below.

Double click and open the Dial-Up Networking folder as shown below.

Right Click on the icon that you dial up our service with.
The icon could be named My Connection, TXOL Internet, or Eastland Internet for example, as sh9own below.

Left click on Properties when the popup menu appears.

Click in the telephone box and change the phone number to the corresponding number for your area, as shown below.

After changing the phone number click on the OK button and close all the menus.

CONGRATULATIONS! you have successfully changed your computer to the 56k service.
